National CCTV Strategy
The National CCTV Strategy, published October 2007, presents the results of a wide-ranging review of CCTV and its applications in the reduction of crime and in public safety. The report reviews the use of CCTV to date, examining both its strengths and its weaknesses and makes recommendations for future action.

CCTV Initiative
The Crime Reduction Programme CCTV Initiative provided over £170 million worth of funding to over 680 CCTV schemes.
This site is aimed primarily at practitioners and provides an in-depth look at the CCTV Initiative. It provides evaluation information including guidance on how to evaluate a CCTV project and discusses legal and technical issues surrounding the use of CCTV.
This technical section also contains Home Office Scientific Development Branch (HOSDB) guidance documents.
